St. Petersburg, FL is a popular tourist spot due to its beaches and world-famous attractions. It is located in Florida, with Tampa Bay on the west and the Gulf of Mexico on the east. The population of St. Petersburg is 257,083 . It has many areas where people can enjoy activities such as parasailing, jet ski riding, fishing, snorkeling and other water sports as well as shopping or eating out at local restaurants or bars.

The most famous attraction in St Petersburg is by far the Dali Museum which displays some of Salvador Dalí’s most famous works including The Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus painted in 1931 depicting a giant Saint Peter towering over a harbor that contains a palm tree sprouting from an egg.
